Catty Building RFP
On February 23, 2018, the Village issued a Request for Proposals for a qualified developer or other qualified party to rehabilitate or redevelop the former Catty Corporation building located at 11117 S. Church Street in Downtown Huntley.
The Village envisions a redevelopment project that will be sensitive to the historic and architectural importance of the downtown as well as complementing and expanding upon the area’s continuing redevelop-ment. The Village acquired the property in 2017. It is located in the Downtown TIF District established in January, 2013. The original deadline for submission from interested parties was 4:00 p.m., April 16th. The Village issued Addendum #1 for the Catty RFP on April 6th, extending the deadline to Monday April 30th at 4:00 p.m.
The Village Board approved a Tax Increment Finance District (the "Downtown TIF" ) in January 2013 to aid in the redevelopment of the downtown and adjacent Rt.47 corridor from approximately Mill Street on the south to Joan Avenue on the north.

Facade Improvement Assistance Program
The Facade Improvement Assistance Program offers financial assistance, up to the lesser of $20,000 or 50% of commercial building facade renovations costs incurred over a five year period (with not more than $10,000 in assistance provided in any one year).
